If you have done your graduation recently and would like persue MBA in top B schools and in other management colleges across India then you have crack MAT(Management Aptitude Test) before getting admission. The test is conducted four times (January, May, September and December) in a year by AIMA. The next earliest MAT will be conducted on 03 May 2015 (Sunday).

The test centers of MAT are well spread across India as well as abroad. After the test, student is provided with individual score card which is valid for one year since the date of issue of the score card/announcement of the MAT result. Students will also get call letter/invitation letter from different institutes based on their scores. Students can also choose up to five institutes of their choice while filling up the entrance form. Another great thing about MAT is that there is no maximum age limit applied on the candidates. Minimum age limit is 21 years.
Scoring a good percentile in MAT is not so easy. A lot of preparation required to do so. MAT is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers. The question paper consists total number of 200 questions and the time duration of the test is 150 minutes. MAT is a paper based as well as computer based online test. In paper based test, students use pen or pencils to answer question and in computer based test, students use mouse or keyboard to answer the questions.
While writing the examination, students should remember that negative marking is also there. For each correct answer 1 mark is awarded and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks are deducted. So, be careful before answering a qustion.
Results of MAT are declared online. A candidate can get his/her result by providing details like form number, roll number, month of examination. Another important thing is cut off marks which is varies from college to college.
